Articles» "Discipline" factor in music

The video on right, is a performance of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumble-bee" by pianist
Yuja Wang. Sure it's not jazz, it's classical music; but I put this video in order to show an example of "discipline" factor in music/musician. You know; sometimes, some of the musicians forget this factor - and even more; we know some musicians that the alcohol and drug habits are being the end of their careers, or even their lifes.

It's obvious that, Yuja's performance here is the product of a highly disciplined, long time work - it's impossible to access this level by playing around, etc. So, if any of the young people reading this post - thinking to be a jazz musician in future; then please don't forget this video..
